Effective Way to Lose Weight
Diet teas are not a good long term solution for weight loss. Diet teas are composed mainly of diuretics and laxatives.
Diet teas contain strong laxatives and diuretics.
Any weight loss is primarily water which if taken to an extreme will lead to a depletion of sodium, potassium and dehydration. Sure you may lose weight but it is only temporary. Low potassium and sodium levels can cause irregular heartbeats and in some cases even death.
Herbal Diet Teas Won't Help You Lose Weight, either
Senna a natural laxative is often an ingredient in herbal diet teas. It works by stimulating the colon and in some cases causing diahrreah and dehydration. This herb can also cause an electrolyte imbalance which can lead to possible heart failure.
